Program Structure

Your pathway consists of:
- 10 Remarkable Weeks: A fast-tracked, intensive program designed to catapult you into your new career.
- Flexible Scheduling: Classes convene Sunday 8 AM - 5 PM.
- Hands-on Experience: Dive deep into real-world dental assisting practices with engaging laboratory and operatory exercises.
Blended Learning Experience
Harness the power of online and offline worlds:
- Online Convenience: Engage with 25 hours of captivating online content, accessible anytime, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
- In-Person Mastery: Revel in 80 immersive in-person hours, fostering a space for practical mastery and enriched learning experiences.
Admission Criteria
Our doors are open to passionate individuals ready to soar. Here are the only requirements:
- Age: students should be over 18 years of age or 17 years of age with parental consent.
- Educational Qualifications: a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Career-Ready Certifications
Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that allows them to apply to the Dental Board of California to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Additionally, you will receive your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Dental Assisting
Course Outline
• WEEK 01 •
General introduction to the exciting field of Dentistry, including your orientation to our clinic and dental terminology.
• WEEK 02 •
Four-handed dentistry, instrumental transfer, isolation techniques, suctioning (HVE), local anesthesia, patient positioning, handpiece maintenance, sealants and coronal polishing.
• WEEK 03 •
Radiology theory, practice of intraoral and extraoral digital X-ray techniques and X-ray safety
• WEEK 04 •
Restorative materials, instruments, mixing, curing, tubs, trays.
• WEEK 05 •
Cements and liners, alginate impressions (upper arch), model pouring and trimming, X-ray quiz. CPR Training.
• WEEK 06 •
Midterm exam. Oral surgery, periodontal instruments and materials, sterilization procedures, alginate impressions (lower arch).
• WEEK 07 •
Crown and bridge instruments and materials, making temporary restorations, bite registration.
• WEEK 08 •
Endodontic materials and instruments, orthodontics, job interview skills. Pediatric dentistry, final written exam, X- ray practical clinical exam.
• WEEK 09•
Externship.
• WEEK 10 •
Externship.

Angela, Registered Dental Assistant, Extended Functions (RDAEF2)
With her fun-loving, artistic and nurturing personality, dentistry was a natural career choice for Angela. In the field since 1996, Angela’s advanced certification stems from a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. She loves to mentor and share her techniques with other assistants. Her focus is helping guide future assistants toward professional success-demonstrating efficiency, quality of care and providing clinical support to ensure optimal patient experiences.
Dr. Mohamed Soliman, DDS
Dr. Mohamed Soliman graduated from Cairo University Dental Medicine School in 2004 with the highest honors, and he has been practicing in the Elk Grove area for more than 15 years. His goal is to provide outstanding care to all his patients and help them gain confidence in their smiles. He is kind, compassionate, and committed to making the dental treatment experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. Dr. Soliman is a member of the ADA®, and he continues his education every year through his membership in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also received an award for America's Top Dentist for Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in 2013 from the Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Soliman is committed to providing our patients with top care and practicing heightened sterilization standards.
